Beauties Of Tulips Flowers

Bees and humans are both attracted to flowers even though they may not have anything else in common. Bees on the one hand derive their benefit from flowers by producing honey for their consumption using the pollen from flowers as one of the basic ingredients for production. Human on the other hand cannot derive such a practical benefit from flower. Nevertheless, human still spend around a billion dollars a year worldwide on the preservation and production of flowers simply for their beauty and aesthetic value.

Over here, I will discuss the beauty and origin of the Tulip ad how it is utilized by humans the world over.

Th tulip has stood the test of time, having evolved for the first time on the face of the earth around a hundred million years ago. It formed in the mountains and valleys where the spread of their pollen would be easily achieved through transportation by bees and other winged insects. The tulip has equal prowess in attracting a bee, a butterfly or even a human being.

The flower was sought after by Dutch kings and queens who wanted to have the prized flower in their personal possession purely for bragging rights. The Tulip mania nearly brought the Dutch nation down to its knees and was for a small period of time instrumental for the crashing of its economy.

The country of Denmark produces the greatest number of individual tulip heads and is the largest market for almost all the species and varieties of Tulips found on the face of the earth. Th city of Aalsmeer is called the tulip city because it has the largest structural wreath made entirely of tulip. The city also hosts the Dutch Flower Event which captivates flower lovers from all over the world to come and visit the little city to take part in the extra lavish event that is entirely centered around tulips, among other flowers as well.

·         Tulips are the symbol of beauty and purity. They are used to decorate the hallways of many holy shrines and churches. They are also used as symbolic giveaways at events such as weddings and anniversaries to symbolize longevity and strength. They are a source of immense pride for the Dutch nation that plant over ten million seeds a years in an attempt to cultivate the largest tulip fields in the world.

They are easy to cultivate and require minimal care; however they do need some attention so that they do not wither out due to dryness and lack of sunlight.
